I just read President Ezra Taft Benson's talk entitled To The Mothers Of Zion and I have been reminded just what it is I'm supposed to be doing here on the earth. It's so inspirational and a chastisement to me for being so lax in this department. I was reading especially the ten ways to be a better mother and I am doing about 5 of the 10 so there is defininte room for improvement I'd say but at least I'm doing 5 so that's a small comfort. Anyway to all you mom's, soon-to-be and future ones as well, it's a talk well worth reading and keeping where you can review it often.

I just finished reading a book by Gordon B. Hinckley called "Standing For Something", and towards the very end, he discussed the importance of mothers in the home, but also the importance of putting the father's back at the head of the household. You should read that to Jay sometime, let him know what a great decision being a good father is. Sometimes it's nice to be reminded of those things, wouldn't you say?
Well thanks tips but I've got that covered. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Seriously though Jon, you're right and I think that everyone in any realtionship should try and boost the others self-worth and confidence with lots of words of encouragement. I know with children especially you can see how they light up when you give them a compliment or word of encouragement. Good stuff!
PS I'm STILL pregnant!
