Here are some candid shots taken during my photography class. My professor took us to his car and then passed out 5 or 6 $8000+ cameras to play around with. We were learning about lighting, the girl in black was our model. Cool, huh? If only all my classes were as cool as this one.

What kind of cameras? And what lens was giving that great DOF?
There were super expensive Canon SLRs mostly, the one I was using literally weighed about 15 pounds! I forgot to write down exactly what model it was. The two pictures that were taken by me (the ones where I'm not in them) used F4.5 and 1/800 or so. As far as the lens, it was a fixed lens, no zoom capability, but had incredible focus capabilities.
